Where can I eat kosher near the Acropolis or Monastiraki?

King David Burger, Ermou 78, is about a minute from Monastiraki Metro and on the walking route up to the Acropolis. As far as we know, it is the closest certified-kosher restaurant to the Acropolis.

Is the food Mehadrin, and who certifies it?

Yes, it is Mehadrin. King David Burger is certified under Tiferet Yisrael, supervised by Rabbi Harel Asher Yazdi. The certificate hangs in the venue, and each venue carries its own supervision.

Is there kosher delivery in Athens?

Yes. You can order King David for delivery in Athens through Wolt, or dine in at either venue. Hours vary around Shabbat.

Are you open on Shabbat?

We close before candle-lighting on Friday and reopen after Havdalah on Saturday night. Sunday to Thursday we keep regular hours. For Shabbat itself, order prepared food for takeaway by 14:00 on Friday.
